UPDATE 12/16/24: The Missions Committee thanks everyone who participated in the Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family Angel Tree project. Today, a car full of gifts—winter coats, clothing, personal care products, household items, toys, and gift cards—was delivered to the Salvation Army. Because of your generosity, this family will have a memorable Christmas.
Angel Tree Project 2022
MOMENT ON MISSIONS
The Lincoln Park Missions Committee will again be participating in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. This year we are giving you 2 options to participate. There is a Christmas tree set up in the Wagner Room with tags listing items that have been requested. If you are in the “virtual” congregation there is a link (below) that will allow you to select the gift you want to purchase, it’s just like online shopping!
Many families are experiencing high food, fuel and utility costs. Wouldn’t it be great to help those less fortunate to enjoy the holiday season? The Salvation Army has often commented how generous the Lincoln Park congregation has been in past years. Let’s all come together to support this worthy program.
