In the morning, there is one combined service at 10 a.m. The praise band will lead us in music and Pastor Quentin’s message is entitled: “Love Gets Us to the Right Place” and will center on the scripture from Luke 2: 1-6 The final and fourth advent candle will be lit.
The Christmas Eve candlelight family service starts at 5 p.m. and will include solos and the children singing “I’ll Give Him My Heart.” The pastor’s homily will center on Luke 2: 7 and is entitled “Love Makes Room.”
Our 10 p.m. service including Holy Communion will actually begin at 9:55 with our prelude of special music by our director of music, Irina Shmeleva, and Robin Lilarose on the flute. Pastor Quentin concludes his Christmas Eve sermon series using Luke 2:10-18 and has entitled it “Love Spreads the Word.”
